Business Class Flights to Bangkok from the UK
Booking premium-cabin fares to the Far East for UK travellers since 2015 · Last reviewed 27 June 2026
Business class flights to Bangkok from the UK start from just £2,121 return through our private fares — making it one of the best-value long-haul business class routes you can fly. The direct flight from London takes around 11 hours 30 minutes, with Thai Airways and British Airways flying non-stop and a string of Skytrax 5-star carriers offering cheaper one-stop options from across the UK.
I book this route constantly for UK clients, and it's one of my favourites to quote — because the gap between what people expect to pay and what's actually achievable is so wide. If you've seen Bangkok business class advertised at £3,500 or £4,000, this guide will show you why that's the public price, not the floor.
The 30-second answer
Our fares from: £2,121 (Birmingham), £2,221 (Heathrow) return.
Direct: Thai Airways (LHR), British Airways (LGW) — ~11h 30m.
One-stop value: EVA Air, Singapore, Qatar, Emirates, Etihad.
Best months: May, June, September for fares; Nov–June for weather.
How much is business class to Bangkok?
Let's lead with real fares — the actual lead-in business class returns we're booking by UK departure airport, not a single "from" price designed to make you call:
| From | To | Business from |
|---|---|---|
| Birmingham (BHX) | Bangkok | £2,121 |
| London Heathrow (LHR) | Bangkok | £2,221 |
| Manchester (MAN) | Bangkok | £2,388 |
| Glasgow (GLA) | Bangkok | £2,497 |
| Newcastle (NCL) | Bangkok | £2,596 |
Put those against the public market and the value is obvious. Comparison sites and other agencies routinely quote Thai Airways from around £3,800, EVA Air from £2,840, and "from" prices of £3,000–£4,000 are common. Our private and consolidator fares start at £2,121 — for the same cabins, the same airlines. On a route this competitive, that's the difference knowing where to look makes.
Why Bangkok is the value sweet spot of long-haul business class
Here's why I rate Bangkok so highly for a first flat-bed experience. At around 11 and a half hours direct, it's long enough that a flat bed genuinely transforms the journey — you fly overnight, sleep properly, and arrive ready to go — yet short enough that fares sit well below the Australia or New Zealand routes. Add the fierce competition between Thai, BA and five excellent one-stop carriers, and you get premium-cabin comfort at a price that simply doesn't exist on longer routes. For many of our clients, Bangkok is the trip where they try business class for the first time and never look back.
Direct or one-stop to Bangkok?
Unlike the very longest routes, Bangkok gives you a real choice — and it's worth understanding before you book.
Direct from London. Thai Airways flies non-stop from Heathrow in its Royal Silk business class, and British Airways from Gatwick in Club World (with the newer Club Suite on some aircraft). Around 11h 30m, overnight, in a flat bed — the fastest, simplest way there, and ideal if you're near London.
One-stop via Asia or the Gulf. EVA Air (Taipei), Singapore Airlines (Singapore), Qatar Airways (Doha), Emirates (Dubai) and Etihad (Abu Dhabi) connect through their hubs. It adds time but often cuts the fare, and crucially these carriers fly from Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Newcastle — so regional travellers skip the London leg entirely. EVA and Singapore are both Skytrax 5-star, and Qatar's Qsuite is the best seat of the lot.
The best airlines for business class to Bangkok
| Airline | Routing | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Thai Airways | Direct (LHR) | Royal Silk, Thai hospitality, the route benchmark |
| British Airways | Direct (LGW) | Club Suite, Avios, fastest from London |
| EVA Air | Taipei | Skytrax 5-star, excellent value |
| Singapore Airlines | Singapore | Skytrax 5-star, world-class service |
| Qatar Airways | Doha | Qsuite — best seat overall |
| Emirates / Etihad | Dubai / Abu Dhabi | Frequency, value, regional UK |
The insider read: for the direct flight, Thai's Royal Silk is the one to beat — genuine Thai warmth and food that suits the destination. If value or a regional departure leads, EVA Air is the quiet star, and for the best seat in the sky, take Qatar's Qsuite via Doha.
Best time to fly business class to Bangkok
Two things to balance: weather and fares. The best weather runs November to June — Thailand's cooler, drier season, ideal for the temples, markets and nearby beaches. For the lowest business class fares, the value months are typically May, June and September, sitting just outside the December peak when demand and prices climb.
| Period | Notes |
|---|---|
| May, Jun, Sep | Best-value fares |
| Nov–Feb | Best weather; Dec is peak and dearest |
| Mar–Jun | Warm, good value before the rains |
| Jul–Oct | Green season, occasional rain, quieter |
Bangkok as your gateway to Thailand and beyond
Most of our Bangkok clients don't stop at Bangkok. It's the natural gateway to Thailand's islands and the wider region, and the best business class itineraries make the most of that. A short domestic hop reaches Phuket, Koh Samui or Krabi, and a one-stop routing lets you build in a few nights in Singapore or Hong Kong on the way. We package the long-haul business class leg, the domestic connections and hotels onto one ATOL-protected booking.
How a specialist saves you money to Bangkok
- Private fares: contract rates the airline never publishes — our £2,121 lead-in versus £3,000+ public prices.
- Per-airport pricing: we quote from your nearest airport, often beating Heathrow once travel is counted.
- Direct vs one-stop modelling: both priced side by side so you see the real trade-off.
- Island & multi-city packaging: Phuket, Samui, Singapore or Hong Kong on one ATOL-protected booking.
